Shipping and return policies:
Shipping policy:
-We utilize UPS and USPS for our shipment to help reduce the costs as much as possible and we will certainly work with you to reduce these costs further by combining orders when possible.
-We only ship within the contiguous USA.
-All of our products are inspected before shipping to ensure they arrive to you in the best condition.
-Shipping time on custom orders varies depending on the scope of the project.
-Estimated shipping times on custom orders will be given through email exchange before order confirmation so that our customers know what to expect.
-We combine for shipping whenever possible for physical addresses. We ask that you request that the shipping of your items be combined if they have not been placed in one order.
-Shipping costs to PO boxes, APO or Military addresses within the contiguous USA will differ from what is stated in the listings.
Return policy:
Custom and personalized orders:
-Custom and personalized items can only be returned for manufacturing defects. We take great pride and care in creating every piece we make. Every item is fully inspected before being carefully packaged for shipment. If you find that there is a manufacturing issue with your piece, please contact us and we will work with you to either refund or replace your item.
-It is the buyer's responsibility to pack return items properly and to acquire insurance on the package(s). If returns are received broken and uninsured, we will not issue any refund.
Damaged items:
All of our products are carefully packaged to insure that you receive them undamaged. If an item is damaged by the shipping company, we will work you to claim damages to the shipping company and obtain a refund directly from the shipping company.

Returned Packages:
If a package is returned due to refusal, the customer being unavailable after the 3rd attempt at delivery, or the customer providing the wrong address; the customer will be responsible for additional shipping fees to receive their package.
*To help avoid returns, please double check to make sure you have given us your correct address, email address and phone number so that we can contact you if there is a problem delivering your package.

Lead times:
- Since most of our products are either custom or personalized, we make them in the order in which the order was placed. Please understand that our lead times fluctuate widely. We try to get orders complete and shipped within a two week period. This lead time tends to grow significantly during peak and holiday seasons. During these periods we will make every effort to make our current lead times known before you place your order. Please know that we always do our absolute best to get your order created and shipped out to you in a timely manner.

What goes into pricing a custom piece?
The price of custom orders is determined based on several factors; size of finished piece, complexity of design, number of layers and desired finish are just a few. Some designs lend themselves to the elements being reused from our existing artwork, which can save in design time. This can help reduce the number of hours spent laying out the custom artwork.
What is the process for ordering a custom item?
You can contact us thru our custom order form describing your idea along with some of the specifics for your project. For simple requests, we will review the request and respond with a budgetary quote usually attaching an image of the rough idea. We will then work with you to finalize the design, usually thru email to obtain the your final approval before physically making and shipping the item. For more complicated designs, it may make more sense to have a telephone conversation to make sure we understand your requirements.
What all goes into making metal décor?:
All of our designs start out life as a drawing in a CAD program. During this phase we make sure that the piece will cut properly. The finished drawing is loaded into CAM software to convert the drawing into something that the CNC table can cut. Once the piece is cut, it is meticulously polished. The grinder marks really add depth and a sense of movement to the piece. As the lighting or viewing angles change, it really brings the piece to life. Once the piece is polished, the finish is added, which is typically a combination of our chemical patina process and/or airbrushing of solvent dies, or automotive candy paints. All of our finishes are specifically selected to allow the marks from the grinding process to show thru. Once the desired finish is achieved, we use a high grade two part automotive clear coat. This step really makes the colors in the piece pop while providing a lasting protective layer.
Disclaimers:
* Metal décor is heavy. Most of our pieces come with a method to securely mount it on the wall. We typically utilize thru holes in the design or hangers fabricated on the back of the item. It is the customer’s responsibility to insure secure mounting to their walls. We recommend that you secure it to a stud. If the desired mounting location prevents you from locating a stud, we recommend the use of a simple drywall anchor. These are extremely inexpensive and can be picked up at any home supply store or Walmart.
*Note: Metal décor usually contains pointed and sharp edges. Please keep this in mind when mounting and handling your item. We claim no responsibility for damages or injuries caused by poorly mounted or mishandled items.
